GENESIS MUN 2025

NOVEMBER 1ST & 2ND | 2025

A DECADE OF DELIBERATION !

Conference Theme

A Decade of Deliberation

Genesis MUN’s monumental 10th edition, A Decade of Deliberation, stands as both a celebration and a challenge — a tribute to ten years of dialogue, diplomacy, and decisive thought, and a call to shape the next decade of global discourse. Over the past decade, it has been a crucible of leadership where young minds have negotiated peace, debated progress, and questioned the structures that define our world. This year’s theme invites every delegate to reflect on that legacy — to understand that true deliberation is not just about argument, but about empathy, collaboration, and the courage to confront complexity.

Our diverse committees embody this spirit — from revisiting historical conflicts in the National Security Council, to exploring the ethical frontiers of technology in the Lok Sabha, and addressing environmental urgency in UNEP. UNESCO reimagines education’s future, while UNIDO explores youth-driven industrial change. Even the UNODC, IPL Auction, and International Press reflect the depth and diversity of thought that define deliberation — where governance, creativity, and global awareness intersect. As Genesis MUN enters its tenth year, we celebrate not just a decade of discussion, but a decade of discovery, and the next generation of voices ready to lead the world forward.

Message From Secretary General

Suryaansh Gupta, Batch of 2027

Dear Delegates, Diplomats, and Dreamers,

Ten years ago, Genesis MUN began as a vision — to unite curious minds and courageous voices. Today, we celebrate A Decade of Deliberation — ten years of dialogue, leadership, and change.

As Secretary-General, it’s my honour to welcome you to this milestone 10th edition — a conference that reflects our legacy while redefining diplomacy for a new generation. From revisiting the battlefields of 1971 in the National Security Council to tackling digital ethics in the Lok Sabha, this year’s committees blend historical insight with futuristic thinking.

Whether confronting plastic pollution in UNEP, exploring industrialisation in UNIDO, or reshaping learning in UNESCO, every agenda challenges you to think critically and act responsibly.

Genesis MUN 2025 is more than an event — it’s a movement. It’s where resolutions turn into responsibility, and deliberation transforms into leadership. Join us on 1st & 2nd November 2025 as we celebrate ten years of dialogue and ignite the next decade of global diplomacy.

With purpose and pride,
Suryaansh Gupta
Secretary-General, Genesis MUN 2025

Dear Visionaries, Changemakers and Leaders,

It is my absolute honor to invite you to Genesis MUN 2025, the 10th edition of our conference and a celebration of ten years of voices that dared to question, dream, and redefine diplomacy. This milestone year, themed “Decade of Deliberation,” honors a legacy of dialogue that has turned ideas into impact. Genesis MUN has always been more than debate. It is a movement of young changemakers determined to confront global issues with creativity, compassion, and conviction. As the leaders of tomorrow, you hold the power to reimagine solutions, challenge conventions, and shape a more just and sustainable world. Hence, I invite you all to bring your passion, perspective, and purpose to the table because every word spoken here has the power to echo beyond the committee walls.

Warm Regards

Priyanshi Singhal

Message from Deputy Secretary General

Sarvagya Jagatram, Batch of 2026

Greetings Delegates,

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you all to this year’s edition of GGS MUN. Over the years, GGS MUN has grown into a platform that not only encourages debate and diplomacy but also celebrates the spirit of learning and collaboration. It’s a space where students come together to challenge ideas, exchange perspectives, and build confidence in expressing their thoughts on global issues. My own MUN journey began right here at GGS MUN 2023. I still remember the excitement and nervousness of being a first-time delegate, trying to find my voice among so many brilliant minds. Since then, MUNs have helped me grow as a speaker, researcher, and leader, teaching me that real diplomacy begins with empathy and understanding.

As the Deputy Secretary-General this year, it’s truly an honour to contribute to a conference that has shaped so much of who I am today. I hope each of you leaves this MUN with new insights, friendships, and the confidence to make your voice heard.

Warm regards,

Sarvagya Jagatram
